 Edward A. Wilson, Director

Edward A. Wilson is currently a Director and President of Wilson & Company, CPA's. He was born in New York City, New York and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where he graduated from Cranbrook School. He attended both the University of Michigan and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) and receiving his Nevada CPA certificate. He bagan his accounting career with Price Waterhouse & Co. in San Fransisco, California, and has been in public accounting ever since. He is a member of the American Institue of Certified Public Accountants and the Nevada Society of CPAs, and is a President's Associate for both UNR and UNLV. Mr. Wilson was a founding director of Commercial Bank of Nevada and served on its board of directors until it was sold to Colonial Bank. He was the chairman of the Board of Nevada Citizens Bank, a denovo bank in Las Vegas, Nevada and closed it down when the full capital funding was not reached. He was the Treasurer for Doubrava for Regent, a University non-partisan position. He is currently the preside of Wilson & Company, CPA's and is involved in small businesses from initial set up and operation, to sale or liquidation, including all associated tax work.

 Charles W. Robinson, Enrolled Agent

Charlie began working for Ed Wilson in December 2010 and has been preparing Federal and State Income Tax returns for him ever since. Charles was born in Des Moines, Iowa and was raised on a farm until his family moved to Nevada in 1961 after his father passed away. He graduated from the University of Nevada Reno in 1971 and worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent examining Federal Income Tax returns of individuals, corporations, and partnerships. In 1981 he transferred to Helena, Montana and managed a group of Revenue Agents and Tax Auditors until 1991. He then transferred to Dallas, Texas and worked on the development of a computer program for Revenue Agents and Tax Auditors to use when they conducted Tax Audits. While attending college, he became interested in the sport of skydiving and made a total of 1,197 jumps out of airplanes from January 6, 1968 until January 17, 2009. His son, Doug Robinson runs a mobile RV repair business in Helena, Montana.

 Lucas Skeen, Staff Accountant

Born in San Diego, California, Lucas has lived all over the U.S., including Colorado, New York, Florida, Washington, and Wisconsin. He obtained his Accounting and Business Management degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Beloit College. His sights are set on obtaining his CPA license within the next year. Lucas started his accounting career working remotely with a small firm in Nebraska as he studied for, and passed, his CPA exams. He has since worked with a telecommunications company and a large cannabis-focused accounting firm in the Las Vegas area before joining Wilson & Company. As well as preparing taxes for individuals, partnerships, and corporations he assists in bookkeeping as a Quickbooks Pro Advisor. He is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest tax and accounting changes that impact our clients through constant research and a love of reading. Above all, Lucas is passionate about helping others succeed in their business on every level.

 Carol Weishaar, Senior Bookkeeper

Carol grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She began her journey into the accounting field in 1985 in Portland, Oregon at a computerized tax service. When the industry was phased out due to the advent of the personal computer, she found herself working at a former client's office where she learned her bookkeeping skills through on the job training. In 1992, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she has been an Accountant's bookkeeper for over 20 years, the most recent 7 ones at Wilson & Company as senior bookkeeper. Carol is politically active and an animal and human rights activist. Her favorite quote is: "The secret of getting ahead is getting started." -Mark Twain

 Maggie Hubbard, Office Manager

Maggie was born in New Jersey, she then proceeded to live all over at a young age. She has also resided in California, Nevada, Arizona, and South Carolina. When Maggie was 16 years old, she started working in the restuarant industry, where she quickly moved into management. By 18, she was a District Manager for all "Panera Breads" in the state of New Jersey. She has managed teams of 4 employees to over 100 employees. In 2019, Maggie had her first child, making her change career paths due to the schedule of working in the Restaurant industry. When given the offer to become a part time receptionist at Wilson & Company, she jumped on the opportunity to get her feet in the door for an office position. After being with the company for a little over a year, she was promoted to Office Manager. Maggie is a mother to two beautiful little girls. In her free time she enjoys playing board games, dancing, traveling, and taking her daughters to the park.

 Tami Thompson, Receptionist

Tami was born in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to Nevada at the age of 5. She finished High School in 2006 where she then went to college for Massage therapy and Sports Medicine. Her hobbies include sports, drawing, hiking, and being a full time mother to 4 children. Although she is new to the industry she enjoys learning new things everyday.
